About Sleep Token
Sleep Token emerged in 2016 under the direction of mastermind Vessel, with live performances by masked members identified only as II, III, and IV. The band's early releases, including the self-released EP One and the Basick Records-issued Two, established their signature approach of blending multiple genres alongside introspective lyrics and visual themes. After signing with Spinefarm Records in 2019, they issued Sundowning, their debut studio album, which introduced them to broader audiences and spawned an expanded edition titled The Room Below that featured piano-based arrangements.
Their second album, This Place Will Become Your Tomb, arrived in September 2021 and marked Sleep Token's first UK chart entries, signaling growing commercial momentum. The band's third record, Take Me Back to Eden, released in May 2023 and produced with Carl Bown, achieved substantial success with over 50,000 copies sold in the UK alone and included singles like Chokehold and The Summoning. A February 2024 signing with RCA Records preceded their fourth studio album, Even in Arcadia, released in May 2025 and featuring the Grammy-nominated single Emergence.
