Bush are an English rock band that emerged from London in 1992 and became a defining force in post-grunge during the mid-90s. Led by Gavin Rossdale, the band scored massive commercial success with their debut Sixteen Stone and continued through a reunion that's produced six albums since 2010.
About Bush
The band formed in London in 1992 and quickly achieved international recognition with their 1994 debut album Sixteen Stone, which reached six-times multi-platinum status in the US. Their momentum continued through the late 90s with a string of top-ten rock singles and a number-one album with Razorblade Suitcase in 1996. The Science of Things followed in 1999 and Golden State in 2001, establishing Bush as consistent chart performers during post-grunge's commercial peak.
After disbanding in 2002, the group reunited in 2010 and has maintained a steady output since then. They released The Sea of Memories in 2011, followed by Man on the Run, Black and White Rainbows, The Kingdom, The Art of Survival, and most recently I Beat Loneliness in 2025. Writers at radio station 106.3 The Buzz have positioned Bush alongside Creed, Silverchair, and Candlebox as part of post-grunge's so-called Big Four.
The Groove Hunter currently tracks 5 editions across their catalog, including vinyl editions of Sixteen Stone on 2 LP and the compilation Loaded: The Greatest Hits 1994-2023 pressed on cloudy clear 2 LP, plus multiple pressings of I Beat Loneliness.
