About Wallows
Formed around Dylan Minnette, Braeden Lemasters, and Cole Preston, Wallows started releasing music independently in April 2017. Their early singles Pleaser, Sun Tan, and Uncomfortable generated buzz through streaming and local LA venues like The Roxy and Troubadour before the band signed to Atlantic Records in early 2018. That spring they issued their debut EP Spring, establishing a foundation for what would become their major label release.
Nothing Happens arrived in March 2019 as their full-length debut, reaching number 75 on the Billboard 200 and earning strong chart positions on alternative and rock albums. The lead single Are You Bored Yet?, featuring Clairo, became their first platinum-certified track and scored MTV VMA recognition. The band continued with the EP Remote in 2020 (followed by a deluxe edition in 2021 that marked Cole Preston's solo vocal debut) and their second album Tell Me That It's Over in March 2022. Their third studio album Model came in May 2024, supported by a full tour run through late 2024 and into 2025. Influences drawn from Arctic Monkeys, The Strokes, The Libertines, Arcade Fire, Kanye West, and The Smiths shape their blend of indie rock sensibilities with alternative edge.
