About The Warning

The Villarreal Vélez sisters grew up in Monterrey with early musical training across multiple instruments. When Alejandra settled on bass guitar around age 7, the three decided to form a rock trio in 2013. They learned songs through the Rock Band video game series and began posting performances on YouTube, which led to their breakthrough moment in 2014 when their cover of Metallica's "Enter Sandman" went viral and drew direct praise from Kirk Hammett himself.

That visibility led to a GoFundMe campaign and their first EP, Escape the Mind, released in 2015 with producer Jake Carmona, who would collaborate on their next three albums. The band's debut full-length, XXI Century Blood, arrived in 2017, followed by Queen of the Murder Scene in 2018. After signing with Lava Records in 2020, they released the Mayday EP in 2021 and the album Error in 2022, which included the single "Money" that reached number 31 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Airplay chart. Their fourth studio album, Keep Me Fed, came out in June 2024. The Warning have toured extensively across North America and Europe, supporting acts like Muse, Halestorm, Three Days Grace, and Guns N' Roses.
