Ferrell grew up singing Shania Twain covers in local bars and left West Virginia in her early twenties to travel with street musicians across America. She spent years living in a van, busking through New Orleans and Seattle before settling in Nashville, where her live performances caught the ear of Rounder Records in 2019. This foundation of constant movement and direct audience connection shapes her approach to songwriting and performance.
Since signing with Rounder, Ferrell has built a strong presence in festival circuits and touring networks, appearing at events like AmericanaFest and Out on The Weekend, and sharing bills with acts like Trampled by Turtles, Parker Millsap, Charley Crockett, and The Reverend Peyton's Big Damn Band.
