About Sabrina Carpenter

Carpenter rose to prominence as Maya Hart on Girl Meets World (2014-2017), but music remained her primary focus throughout her acting career. She signed with Hollywood Records and released her debut EP in 2014, followed by her first album "Eyes Wide Open" (2015). Her subsequent projects"EVOLution" (2016), "Singular: Act I" and "Singular: Act II" (2018-2019)" showed her moving toward electropop and R&B sounds while maintaining her identity as a pop vocalist with distinctive phrasing.

In 2021, a shift came when she signed with Island Records, leading to "Emails I Can't Send" (2022), an album that secured her reputation beyond her former child-star identity. Tracks like "Nonsense" and "Because I Liked a Boy" became viral hits and established her as a songwriter with wit and emotional honesty. The project demonstrated her ability to balance vulnerability with confident pop sensibilities.

With "Short n' Sweet" (2024), Carpenter leaned into a more playful tone, introducing retro pop aesthetics alongside her trademark lyrical bite. The singles "Espresso" and "Please Please Please" reached new commercial heights and expanded her streaming audience substantially. She followed with "Man's Best Friend" in August 2025, released a bonus track version in December 2025, and continues to refine her approach to songwriting and performance.
