The group debuted on June 28, 2024 with the digital single Debut, which was incorporated into their first EP SIS (Soft Is Strong). KATSEYE's membership spans multiple countries: SOPHIA from the Philippines, LARA and MEGAN from the U.S., YOONCHAE from South Korea, DANIELA from the U.S., and MANON from Switzerland. This international composition shapes their sound as they navigate the competitive K-pop influenced sphere while operating under a major North American label.

Their discography developed quickly through 2025 and into 2026. The single Gnarly arrived in April 2025, followed by their second EP BEAUTIFUL CHAOS in June 2025, which spawned enough interest to justify a first North American tour starting in November 2025. The group continued releasing material into 2026, with the single PINKY UP arriving in April of that year. Member MANON took a health-related hiatus in February 2026, though the group's output remained steady.
