About Aurora
Born in Stavanger in 1996, AURORA began songwriting and dance training at six years old. She released her debut single Awakening at 17 in late 2013, followed by Under Stars in 2014. After signing with Glassnote and Decca, she released the Running With The Wolves EP in 2015, which won Best New Artist at the Spellemannsprisen (Norway's Grammy equivalent) and led to a John Lewis Christmas commercial covering Oasis. Her 2016 debut album All My Demons Greeting Me As A Friend topped Norwegian charts and reached the UK top 30.
AURORA's second album came as a two-part release. Infections Of A Different Kind - Step 1 arrived in 2018 with 32 choirs integrated into the production, while A Different Kind Of Human - Step 2 followed in June 2019. That same year, she contributed the track Into the Unknown to Disney's Frozen 2, later performing it at the 92nd Academy Awards. Her third studio album, The Gods We Can Touch, released in January 2022 via Glassnote and Decca, marked her first UK top 10 and won her the International Success Of The Year award at the 2021 Spellemannsprisen.
